The winter season in Minnesota brings many bleak, frigid days, but we are blessed to have some exciting wildlife. I always hope for an often hard to predict invasion of Bohemian Waxwings and the various winter finches. The blanket of snow also creates spectacular scenes for our year round birds and animals. Despite winter being cold (and according to some, a season that lasts far too long!), it really is a beautiful time in our state if you keep things in perspective.
