Spring in Minnesota is always interesting. You have just about any kind of weather imaginable, from blizzards to thunderstorms. But winter eventually releases its grip, and every day between April and May gives us a sense of anticipation, wonder, and expectations. Leaves eventually begin to sprout and the forests become green. The spring migration is full steam ahead. Ruffed Grouse start their courtship displaying. All of this is a welcome change coming out of what was a long, cold, and windy winter.
